One of them being that the main relief sought against the two respondents were admittedly not parties to the arbitration agreement and also not situated within the jurisdiction of the Court. The court opined that there were important questions of law that arise in this case. The court acknowledged that disputes between the parties arose as far back as on 26th October 2018 and a notice was also issued by Bhansali Production in October 2019. Later this month Bhansali Productions again reached out to court with a similar request to protect the rights with respect to movie “Bajirao Mastani”. from in any manner directly or indirectly dealing with, selling, exploiting, assigning, licensing, distributing and/or renewing rights of film titled “Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela” which was co produced by Bhansali Productions and Eros Media. which had approached the court seeking urgent ad-interim reliefs restraining Eros International Media Ltd. The Bombay High Court on 4th May had passed an orderdirecting Eros Media to pay a sum of Rs.19,39,241/- to Bhansali Productions Pvt.
